Calming and focusing mind through meditation involves sitting cross legged, lying or standing. Components of Kundalini Yoga: Asana: It is the position of the person maintained throughout the exercise. It holds wandering thoughts and improves concentration and develops self control. Effect of Kundalini Yoga: Kundalini Yoga is the art of using one’s own power (energy) to heal or enlighten. It involves two kinds of energy, one is the air energy obtained by breathing and the second is the inborn energy which is left inactivated and buried at the base of the spine. During the practice, the latent energy which is supposed to be stored in the tail bone is activated and the energy disseminates from spine to brain which helps in strengthening, curing and rebuilding of diverse areas of the body.

Though the yoga has reached mere geographical positions, it is mainly originated in the regions of Kashmir. Among the huge number of chakras, eight primary chakras need to be used for practicing kundalini yoga. The Yoga is based on the fact that the energy that exists outside our body also exists within us in the form of goddess called “Kundalini”. Over 72,000 astral tubes otherwise called as “Nadis” are found in a human body. Chakras are the intersection of two or more nadis. Mudhras help in curing dyspepsia, constipation, piles, asthma, enlargement of spleen, leprosy and all sorts of untreatable diseases.

Posture along with Mudhras helps in bringing the mind and body together to release the energy and circulate within the entire physical body. Practicing Kundalini Yoga: If a body is thought to be a universe with indefinite cells, then each individual is said to be a God of his/her own universe. In short, relating ourselves to the universe in the form of Shakti or feminine power is Kundalini Yoga.

Utterance of mantras brings divine thinking and consciousness of the mind. Kundalini means serpent power. Once liberated, there is no turning back. The physical bodies refined by Kundalini Yoga possess immense power to combat illness and stay young and energetic. Kundalini Yoga sometimes called the Royal or Raja Yoga is assumed to be emerged thousands of years ago and it belongs to tantra tradition. It brings the mind for meditation. In each manifestation, it is essential to organize and use the energy.

Each human is believed to reside a serpent that is coiled up from the base of the spine. One need a clean understanding about the best practice of Kundalini yoga and must learn how to use it to balance themselves and the spiritual eternity of life. The techniques produce effective and efficient sense of enhanced consciousness. They are responsible for memory, time and space, reason, will power, direct cognition, divine love, divine vision and Godliness respectively.

The awakening of Kundalini Shakti has power to rise and flow through channels of brain delivering a complete relaxation and an enlighten vision of oneself. Mudhras: Mudhras are position of hands that locks in a certain way refluxing the brain and mind. Meditation: It is the extreme relaxation of the mind with the body being in the state of rest. Mantras: It is a word, syllable or phrase written in sacred languages like Sanskrit & Gurmukhi. During deep breathe, air must be left to rush and occupy the top part of the lungs and the person must feel an expansion. The pronouncement of mantras strikes specific points in the mouth which could activate the response of the brain.
